Not all photographs are available in every size. If you would like to special order a size that is not shown below please send me an email. Shipping will depend on zip code/country and size of print. Nature Speaks Sessions (One-on-one or in groups)
I believe there is a strong magnetism in Nature, which if we consciously yield to, will direct us in a right way. As we spend time in Nature we become attuned to her voice… it’s a language like no other . Using photography, intuition, awareness, and stillness we break thru the barriers that have caused the loss of connection with Nature’s wisdom. Once connected we gain much needed clarity in our lives. Our lives become less fearful, richer and deeply satisfying... even through the dark nights of the soul. We cease giving our power away…realizing that we had the answers all along.
Sessions ~ Through photography and writing assignments (cell phone camera is all you need & you do not need to have writing or photography experience), intuition, awareness, and stillness we will break thru the barriers that have blocked us from hearing Nature's voice and receiving the wisdom she so freely offers. We will share and discuss the gems we unearth through the assignments.

Welcome to Budding Photographers! For Children and Adults
A child hooked on photography is a child who rarely says, "There is nothing to do!" ~ Rain or shine!
The tools that we will use are intuition, timing, point of view, a willingness to wait, and the courage to move closer…tactics that make beauty and meaning, otherwise hidden, visible.
All of these things are part of how we naturally see, but we have to be aware (a shadow of a butterfly causes us to turn our head to look!) of them if we’re really going to see.
What you notice will reflect the way the world speaks to you, and only you.

We will start each class with a connection practice. This entails closing our eyes, slowing our breath, and feeling with our senses what is around us.
Once we have connected with our surroundings there will be a concept introduced followed by activities to learn and support the concept. Some examples are how to take photos with an iPad, framing, composistion, the rule of thirds, lighting, angles, textures, and subject matter to name a few.
There will be a time for us to look at our photos and discuss what we love about them and what might have made them even better. There is no wrong photo...just a different perspective.
An activity will be sent home for the children to do...keep the creative juices flowing.
Classes will be held at the Botanical Gardens, The Nature Center, Beaverdam Lake and possibly a location downtown.
One parent/guardian will be expected to stay on premises with their photographer. Bring a book and relax or watch us do our stuff!
There are a series of 4 classes that will build upon each other. Each class will be an hour or so. Please make sure your child has access to a fully charged iPad or iPhone, or camera which is what we will be using to capture photos. If child does not have access to these devices I have one iPad they can use.
Thank you for making the investment in your child’s creativity! Connecting with the natural world around them in a positive way is imperative for their growth. I look forward to being a vehicle in this growth and getting to know each child and discovering their gifts.
The series of 4 classes is $157.00. Payment in full is needed before the classes start. If child has a camera they can of course use it instead.
Adults are welcome to take classes as well. Private lessens are at an hourly rate of $60
