"A storm was blowing in when I shot this from my porch. The colors emerged from a filter I applied. The colors and shades appeared because of the many different densities of the clouds."

"It's not always easy to jump into something unfamiliar with both feet so to speak. What if it's doesn't feel good, what if I get hurt, what if ...? Often we need to test the waters, to ease into it slowly. Uncertainty comes with the territory of being human. Perhaps our trust has been violated somewhere along the journey and fear has become the dominant force. "

"I sat on the rocks for quite a while marveling at the diversity in this tiny place off the main road. I could hear the cars whizzing by just above me and I reflected on the two different worlds the drivers and I were in."

Sophia's Perspective, A Journey With an Intuitive Photographer - TreeSisters
My Costa Rica Journey
I was fortunate to finally fulfill one of my dreams of traveling to Costa Rica on a photo excursion. Like most photographers I took thousands of photos and have spent the last couple of weeks processing them. I was blown away by the immense diversity from the Jungle to the Cloud Forest. The colors from fauna to insect to mammals ran the spectrum of the rainbow and begged to ask the question, "Why?"
I will be posting these photos for weeks to come and I invite you to come back daily to see this country through the lens of my camera and Sophia's perspective.
With Much Gratitude, Sophia
Earth Gallery
Lovely Sophia …Looking at your images in the Earth gallery made me sigh with the beauty that surrounds us here in Western North Carolina. You are an exquisite photographer and I adore your work.

Your Photos Have So Much Feeling!
Keep up the good work! Your photos have so much FEELING in them, and stories being told. I just finally framed one of your photos, and it makes me so happy to have it's presence in my home that I wanted to share it with you. It makes my whole room happy! That little guy flying off is as nourished as the flower he left. It even occurred to me that the bee being "unfocussed" actually tells a better story about him, you can feel his pleasure and 'fullness' as he flies off. Keep up the good work! Your photos have so much FEELING in them, and stories being told... Danielle
